"Rezulin lawsuits may be getting harder to fight off"

September 8, 2003 BREAKING NEWS!!
New findings published in the Mayo clinic Proceedings show that diabetes drugs may cause heart failure and cause fluid buildup in some patients. The first drug in the newest class of diabetes drugs was Rezulin. In March 2000 regulators found the drug to pose such a great risk of adverse effects that a Rezulin recall was issued. The new information about popular type-2 diabetes drugs may have a high financial implication for Pfizer Inc., which owns Rezulin after purchasing Warner-Lambert company and is currently battling thousands of Rezulin lawsuits. Allegations against Rezulin maker Warner-Lambert have been that the company failed to inform consumers of Rezulin health risks.
